I am Pretty Dramatic

I'm Sam, the face behind Pretty Dramatic.  I'm a Phoenix-based mobile makeup artist with a passion for creativity, color, and helping people feel amazing in their own skin.  My love for makeup started at a young age and it has led me to an amazing career.

 

​I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Film & Media Production, where I first fell in love with the art of storytelling through visuals—and yes, that includes the magic of makeup! Wanting to dive deeper, I continued my education at Make-Up Designory (MUD) in Burbank, California, where I learned all aspects of makeup artistry—from natural beauty to bold editorial looks and special effects.

I have had the privilege of working on many exciting projects, including LA Fashion Week, music videos, films and photoshoots. Whether I’m glamming up a bride, perfecting a red-carpet look, or creating something totally out-of-the-box, my goal is always the same: to make you look (and feel) absolutely incredible.
